2ieme années pour le Garden Festival, et malgré une météo pas toujours au rendez vous, cette édition est restée une belle réussite !
Large choix proposés par les nombreux exposants, personnel très sympa et bien organisé (malgré que le festival soit victime de sont succès). Bus à disposition pour rejoindre les différents points de parking, plan disponible à l'entrée, restauration,. Le prix me semble tout à fait justifié, à l'année prochaine !

Ontgoochelend: weinig en bovendien meestal dure plantenverkopers. Inkom te hoog voor wat je krijgt. Wel vriendelijk personeel ( vrijwilligers).

Één heel mooie locatie. Een unieke gelegenheid om dit prachtige domein aan het kasteel te bewonderen. Mooie standen, veel variatie.,
Een groot minpunt:Te weinig toiletten, voor zoveel volk.Misschien zijn extra mobiele toiletten een idee.
Er mochten ook meer drank en eetgelegenheden zijn.

Organisatie had het wat moeilijker met aanpassingen door het natte weer.

Wanted to visit this much talked about festival for a long time and it didn't disappoint! The market areas have some unique healthy plants and seed collections, as well as quality gardening tools and accessories. A little bit on the expensive side perhaps but again, you get to meet quality growers/seed savers face to face and get their advice (and you save on shipping costs right?). Next to that there are fresh "terroire"/local produce (honey, apples, vinegars, oils, waffles, jams etc) and nice food. The garden tour was interesting and yes, although here and there, you notice it's not as well kept as it once was, the real garden - lover will see its richness and beauty. We unfortunately didn't have time to participate at any of the workshops. We arrived round noon and walked round the market till 15h30, then had the garden tour, went for a walk in the domaine and had something to eat.

What a terrible experience. I had expected beautiful castle gardens, despite the high entrance fee.
but nothing could be further from the truth, the gardens are poorly maintained and there is hardly any room to enjoy them. The paths are narrow and packed with people. The high ticket price is due to the organisation of the local annual market. But I wasn't at all interested in what those local hillbillies were selling there.
Not to mention those arrogant luddites who organised the car park! Never again!

Veel te duur inkom 13€ is een verkoop van planten, dan ga je beter naar een tuincentrum en wandelen in een park, zoals in Sint trilden of Bokrijk.
