Where to begin! I had originally go in to see a stylist and had unfortunately wasn’t happy with how my hair turned out. I’ve never complained about a hair cut or colour before so I felt so guilty doing so. I spoke to the really sweet receptionist at the front the next morning sharing how I wasn’t happy with the end result. She spoke with the owner and called me back saying they would fix it for me with a level five stylist. They were SO accommodating from start to finish with literally EVERYTHING. They never made me feel bad or uncomfortable at all. You could tell how genuine they were and not “faking” anything to make me feel happy, they were so amazing to deal with. Megan did my hair and is an absolute wizard with colouring. The entire time her and her assistant Cassidy were so kind and gentle with me. The communication was superb. They truly listened to what I said and came through! I honestly can’t believe what an incredible job they did, I can’t even remember the last time I’ve actually liked my hair. The entire time they were beyond pleasant to talk with and Megan gave me so many good tips on how to take care of my hair and really went the extra mile with the warm towels etc. This place seriously thinks of everything and the customer service is SO top notch but SO genuine. I’ve never been to a salon that I’ve felt so comfortable with. They are so incredibly professional on every single level. The customer service from start to finish even with reception is just 11/10. Thank you to the leadership and owner who has hired/groomed such amazing staff and taking care of me from the top down. I was so terrified to complain and they handled me with such care.Honestly amazing. Cannot wait to go back again. Xo

Had my wedding makeup by Rand and wedding hair done by Daniel. Both were amazing!! My bridesmaids hair and makeup were also done and the mother and sister of the bride and everyone looked fabulous!! Cannot say enough good things about this salon!! Definitely recommend!!!

I was at Edges Salon recently to have my eyebrows microbladed. The front end staff welcomed me. Rand explained the entire process to me. She made recommendations, but I chose the color and shape of my new eyebrows. She was very professional, but at the same time, kind and caring. I felt relaxed and comfortable during the procedure. Rand was amazing from start to finish. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to have their eyebrows microbladed. Edges is very fortunate to have her as an employee.❤️

I moved back to the Arbour Lake community and was in desperate need of a new hairdresser. I did research on the crowfoot area options and I settled on this location after reading MANY reviews from several locations.

I was flexible on my stylist but wow am I ever super glad I got Megan. I have literally never had a better haircut and style in my entire life. I am an adult woman in her 30s, that is saying a LOT.

Also, conversation and customer service from Megan and from front staff upon checkout was absolutely excellent. My drink was forgotten by the front staff upon check-in (they were very busy) and Megan ensured I got it and that I had a lactose free (I am intolerant unfortunately) cream. She genuinely cares about her clients and their experience as a whole, start to finish.

The robes are a nice touch.

I am actually excited for my next haircut for many reasons. The atmosphere is excellent and welcoming to a variety of personalities and I like how the floor is laid out to give some privacy. Megan's hair wash and neck massage was lovely. Her scissor skills are excellent. She has wonderful communication skills that not only showcased her skills in the cut but I truly enjoyed our time together.

Finally she took the time to use products curated to my needs, and her styling at the end she did perfectly to me. Honestly, in previous years (with other stylists at other salons), I usually ended up styled in odd ways and had to go home and wash it immediately. I left her wash and style for 3 DAYS!!!!!!! I usually wash my hair every other day but she just did that excellent, I kid you not.

Anyways, Megan is amazing skill wise and personality wise. Highly recommend looking into this location and their artist!

I have had the most incredible first time experience here and have found my new go to salon and stylist! From the moment I walked in the door, my mother and I were greeted by amazing front desk service, coffee, tea and water offered up with the mention that they also serve snacks! All you’ve got to do is scan the QR code and pick from the menu! Pretty niche! The decor in there is unreal and SO beautiful!!!! It feels magical walking in. Hayat and Janine gave us amazing tips on hair products and were overall amazing ladies. Lauren, my stylist was such an incredible woman. She was very attentive to my needs at 16 weeks pregnant, ensuring I was moving around enough and using the washroom, having snacks and shared my excitement to feel like myself again and reclaim my identity (as hair is the only thing I really do for myself in general) as it had been over 20 weeks since anything had been done to my hair. I had tons of colours in my hair, faded green, reds and blacks. She was very meticulous in listening to what I wanted and made the magic happen from cut to colour! We had awesome conversation throughout the entire process and I really felt at home and appreciated being there. The prices are MORE than fair and reasonable. And it was awesome to see the support and excitement from other stylists during the service regarding how the end result would be. I can’t wait to go back <3

Emily Lalonde has been cutting my hair for almost 5 years now and she is the best! I was so happy when she moved to Calgary. She always talks with me about my vision and helps me tweak it with insight about what will look/be best for my hair type and styling behaviours. She always checks in multiple times while cutting my hair to make sure it's looking the way I want it to. And she's so fun to talk to as well!

Truly a wonderful Salon and Experience! I was looking for a Salon after moving back to Calgary and after trying a few will continue to go to Edges. Melanie goes above and beyond consistently, is so knowledgeable and gave great advice specific to my hair type. She is so attentive, plus so nice and friendly and I always leave feeling great!
